Originally shown in glorious 3-D this Sci-Fi classic stars "male sensation of 1944" Sonny Tufts as commander of an expedition to the 'dark side of the moon'. Tufts plays a rocket ship commander who discovers a number of scantily-clad girls (low cut black leotards, velvet chokers and suede loafers) who become known as "THE CAT WOMEN OF THE MOON". Our hero Sonny does not have time for the advances of these strange, slightly oriental looking girls (clever eye make-up gives them that all important foreign look!) as he is smitten by 'girl next door' Marie Windsor, the ship's navigator. The ultimate male drive-in movie fantasy, a distant planet populated by gorgeous man-hungry females. This classic 'Killer B's' title features Hollywood cover girls as the Cat-Women and music by Elmer Bemstein (The Magnificent Seven).
