BAREFOOTIN, an early venture into pop-promo work, features a track by Robert Parker, elegance and wit distinguish NEXT, in which the entire Shakespeare theatrical canon is condensed into all of five minutes; LATE EDITION looks at life behind the scenes at a right-on newspaper; MY BABY JUST CARES FOR ME draws slyly on the tradition of Hollywood classic cartoons in its animation of the Nina Simone song: GOING EQUIPPED provides sympathetic insight into the character of a persistent offender; IDENT cannily plays on its plasticine hero's capacity for transformation as he negotiates the big questions in Life: WAR STORY is a tall story of one man's domestic tribulations during WWII: SLEDGEHAMMER, the celebrated Peter Gabriel video, combines the skills of several very different animators; CREATURE COMFORTS, which has a delightful cast of characters in a zoo discussing their living conditions, and now, in this extended special edition, a selection of the hugely successful 'Heat Electric' TV commercials based on the Creature Comforts format.
