It opens in the London criminal courts where supergrass Willie Parker (Terence Stamp) has just sent his fellow criminals down for life. As he steps out of the witness box the men in the dock burst into a stoney-faced chorus of 'We'll Meet Again Don't Know Where, Don't Know When... Some Sunny Day.'

Sunny it is: dray and dusty Spain 10 years after, where a grim-faced hit-man (John Hurt) arrives with a cockney side kick (Tim Roth) to kidnap Willie from his village hidout and deliver him to brutal vengeance in Paris. Touching dangerously close to the real underground criminal world 'THE HIT' erupts in an unexpected and violently twisted ending.
