Rupert Bear, Bill Badger and Tigerlily are watching from the ground as Podgy Pig flies around on the Professor's new flying bicycle. Suddenly, Podgy sniffs the air and disappears off in a different direction. Yes, Podgy's stomach has got the better of him yet again! He is soon found longingly eyeing oceans of goodies in a biscuit factory. As usual, Podgy's appetite leads to trouble - he is sealed in a crate of biscuits. Rupert tries to rescue him, but they both accidentally end up on a ship destined for far off shores. The adventure that follows even manages to put Podgy off his food, well, for at least half an hour!

Rupert and Algy's Misadventure

Rupert Bear, Algy Pug and Bill Badger are having lunch with the Wise Old Goat. As Rupert arrives Algy inadvertently gets caught up in the Old Goat's 'History Clock' and is sent to around 1400 A.D. Rupert goes after Algy with some return medals. When Rupert joins Algy he finds that everyone believes Algy is the Duke of Algernon (which Algy rather likes after a while) but it is all part of a sinister plot by the evil Sir Guy. It's up to Rupert to restore order and rescue both the real Duke and Algy - who won't be convinced that he is better off leaving speeches to the professionals.
