Poeple sometimes ask me how many fights I've seen. I honestly don't know, but it's many, many thousands since my first TV commentary in 1949. There are nights, of course, that stay in your mind for ever and here, on this video, are eight of them. They sapn 21 years, from 1967 to 1988, and among the boxing great you will see in action are HENRY COOPER, JOHN CONTEH, CHRIS FINNEGAN, JOHN H. STRACEY, DAVE BOY GREEN, CARLOS PALOMINO, JIM WATT, ALAN MINTER, MARVIN HAGLER and LLOYD HONEYGHAN.

Watch HENRY COOPER's fight in 1967 against BILLY WALKER, the Golden Boy of British boxing and remember just how good Henry was. Study here what made JOHN CONTEH such an outstanding fighter, even when he was up against a man of much greater experience. Thrill again at the extraordinary battle between Britain's DAVE BOY GREEN and the talented American, CARLOS PALOMINO. Green fought his heart out in this one and Palomino never forgot it. And if you ever had doubts about the fearsomeness of MARVIN HAGLER, just watch this vicious fighrt with ALAN MINTER, and occasion which spilled over into disgraceful crowd behaviour, the like of which had not been seen before in British Boxing.

They're all here, the oogd moments and the bad. They've been part of a fascinating life as a commentator and I'm glad to be able to share them with you.
